3D Packager Help
3D Packager
is the world's best packaging software tool. You can use it
easily to make your product package photos or animated
demonstrations. You can easily spin, move, zoom and resize your box
by some simple mouse actions. And you can change the texture or
color of the floor to make the scene cooler as well.
BMP/JPG/JPEG/GIF/PNG/TIF file formats are all supported both to
import as textures and export as files. With 3D Packager you can
also make a video advertisement for your product to increase your
sales.

1. Main Window

The main window is composed of 4 areas. Main Menu area, Tool Bar
area, 3D View/Control area and Status Tool Bar area.

[Save Snapshot]:
To export current scene to a file as a picture.
[Exit]: To terminate the program.

[Tool Bar]: To
show/hide the Tool Bar.
[Exit]: To terminate the program.

[Add Frame]:
To add the current scene as a key frame to the animated
demonstration. (You can also do this in the tool bar panel)
[Play]: To play all stored frames in series. (You can
also do this in the tool bar panel)
[Record]: To export current animation to a AVI file.
(You can also do this in the tool bar panel)
[Save Video Path As]: To save all the scene movements
as a Video Path file [Load Video Path]: To load from a
Video Path file |

To save current project as a file
[Load Project]: To load a project from a file |

[Help...]: To
open the software help.
[Update...]: To
find updates.
[Registration...]: To register or to show the current
registration info.
[About...]: To show the software info, e.g. version. |

3. Tool Bar

[Spin]: The
mouse drag action will spin/rotate the current scene. (press 1
on the keyboard will select this mode)
[Move]: The mouse drag action will move the current
scene. (press 2 one the keyboard will select this mode)
[Zoom]: The mouse drag action will zoom in or zoom out
the current scene. (press 3 on the keyboard will select this
mode)

[Texture Detail]:
To change the quality of the textures. There are 6 degrees,
Very Low, Low, Normal, Nice, High
and Max. The better degree you choose more slowly
will the texture be changed.
[Box Surface]: To set texture pictures for different
surfaces of the box. Front, Back, Top, Bottom, Left
and Right.
[Floor Surface]: To set a texture or a color for the
floor of the scene. And you can turn off the floor as well.
[Wall Surface]: To set a texture or a color for the
wall of the scene. And you can turn off the wall as well. |

[Background Color]:
To change the color of the background.

[Add Frame]:
To add the current scene as a key frame to the animated
demonstration.
[Del Frame]: To delete frames after the one selected
in frame list.
[Frame List]: To select a stored frame.
[Play]: To play all stored frames in series.
[Record]: To export current animation to a AVI file. |

4. 3D View/Control Panel
Basically there are three objects in the scene,
the Background, the Floor and the Box. All settings in this software
will affect the three objects and that will present in this area.

Basic Actions:
1) [Spin / Rotate the scene] Select
"Spin" mode in the tool bar and then drag the mouse towards any
direction within the 3D view will rotate the scene.
Tips: Press the "Ctrl"
key while the drag movements will only rotate about the x-axis.
Press the "Alt" key while the drag movements will only rotate
about the y-axis.
Drag the mouse using the Right-Button will only rotate about the
z-axis.
From version 1.2, the
up/down/left/right cursor keys are available to control the
movements either.
2) [Move the scene] Select "Move" mode
in the tool bar and then drag the mouse towards any direction within
the 3D view will move the scene.
Tips: Press the "Ctrl" key
while the drag movements will only move along the y-axis.
Press the "Alt" key while the drag movements will only move
along the x-axis.
From version 1.2, the
up/down/left/right cursor keys are available to control the
movements either.
3) [Zoom the scene] Select "Zoom" mode
in the tool bar and then drag the mouse towards any direction within
the 3D view will zoom the scene in and out.
Tips: If your mouse
has a middle wheel button, you can use this button as well in any
control mode.
From version 1.2, the
up/down/left/right cursor keys are available to control the
movements either.

5. Status Bar

[Box Width]:
To chane the box width (0~1000)
[Box Height]: To chane the box height (0~1000)
[Box Depth]: To chane the box depth (0~1000)

To resize the wall (0~10000)

[Scene Pattern
List]: Select a saved pattern.
[Save a Scene
Pattern ]: Save current scene settings to as a new pattern.
[Delete a Scene
Pattern]: Delete the pattern selected.
